OnePlus 7 Pro

Top smartphones coming in 2019
Below we've listed the flagships expected to arrive in 2019 from the world's biggest smartphone makers. Though launch dates are yet to be confirmed for some of these phones we've attempted to keep things roughly in date order, so you have a good idea of how long you'll be waiting to upgrade.

There's a chance you could upgrade your contract early, but if you just can't wait you should also check out our guide to the best phones available right now.

OnePlus 7 Pro - On sale now

On 14 May OnePlus announced its new dual-device strategy with the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro (reviewed here). A 5G version is also available to pre-order, going on sale on 30 May as the UK's first 5G phone - or, at least, the UK's first phone on which you can actually use 5G, since Vodafone is already selling Mi Mix 3 5G.

The standard OnePlus 7 is designed as the phone for those upgrading from a pre-2018 OnePlus phone, building on the OnePlus 6T with a more powerful Snapdragon 855 processor and faster UFS 3.0 storage, stereo speakers and some enhancements to the in-display fingerprint sensor and dual-lens rear camera. It costs from £499 and will go on sale in June.

But OnePlus 7 Pro is something completely different. With a new pop-up selfie camera, triple-lens rear camera with a 48Mp sensor headlining, a standout 6.67in 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display, a higher-capacity 4000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge, and all the improvements brought to OnePlus 7, this is a true flagship killer.

On sale now in new gradient colour options including Nebula Blue and Mirror Gray (an Almond option is coming later in June), OnePlus 7 Pro starts at just £649.
